The Draper 65142 is about £25.50 and 4.3 from 199 reviews, many from the UK, used on mortar, pointing and light car work. The same file names no power, a locked trigger, rust, a missing case, and a 1/4 in BSP inlet. Amazon prints no cfm. A Woodford dealer page prints 4,500 blows and a 43 mm stroke. Do not merge those pages. The Clarke CAT138 is about £34.66 with 14 cfm on load, a 66 mm stroke and 3,000 blows. That air figure is the demand. Ignore the corded-electric cell. The BGS 6240 is about £37.20, 4.5 from 105 reviews with no UK review in the file, a 10 mm round shank, a 67 mm stroke and 179 litres per minute. Reviews say the chisels spin.

Proster and the two Pneupacture kits

The Proster is about £47.99 with 4.6 from three reviews, none from the UK, a 92 mm stroke, 2,500 blows, a case and a 1/4 in NPT inlet. There is no cfm. Is Electric says yes while the bullets say the compressor is not included. The NP0219 is about £59.99 at 3,500 blows, 4.1 from 48 reviews, with a snapped fitting, a stuck trigger, and air with no impact in the file. The NP0229 is about £69.99 at 2,200 blows, 3.8 from 56 reviews. UK reviews say the collet rejects chisels, or that the tool hisses and does not hit.

Is the Draper enough if I only chip mortar and the odd flange?
For that work, the Draper 65142 at about £25.50 is the listing with the large UK review pile. Reviewers do name mortar, pointing and light car work. They also name units that will not hit, a locked trigger, rust, and a 1/4 in BSP inlet. It is enough when the fitting matches and the job is light. It is not enough when you need a printed cfm before you buy.
Why is the Clarke not the bargain if it prints 14 cfm?
Because 14 cfm on load at 6.2 bar is what the compressor must supply, not a bonus. The CAT138 is about £34.66 with a 66 mm stroke and 3,000 blows per minute, which is a clear listing. If your tank cannot approach that air use, the clearer page is the one you should skip.
