Shed guttering

Updated: 23 October 2026

You want the rain off one slope of a small shed and into a water butt, not a new system for the house. Shed guttering at that scale is usually a 76 mm mini channel and a 50 mm pipe, sold as a half-shed pack rather than a full eaves kit. This page stays on that limit: one side of about 6 ft, screws you buy yourself, and the roofs that need a different box. The [gutter comparison](/hub/diy-supplies/gutter) holds the amazon.co.uk row we actually captured. That listing and FloPlast's MiniFlo page were read on 21 October 2026. One side, about 6 ft

FloPlast describes its MS1 MiniFlo half-shed pack as one side of a standard 6 ft shed. The amazon row in our table, B01M8J7QQS, is titled 76 mm gutter, 50 mm downpipes, and 2 m, at £46.30, with 4.4 from 160 reviews. Two metres lines up with one wall of a small shed, not with both slopes of an apex. UK reviews in the file use it that way: a 6×4 into a butt, a 6×6, a summerhouse, a chicken run, a gazebo. The kit style has one stop end and one outlet, so a two-slope porch has nowhere to finish. The colour cell on this capture reads X-gutter Pack-x. That is not a colour.

What the maker lists, and what the listing does not

FloPlast's MiniFlo page sets out an MS1 contents list for that one side: two 1 m gutters, a union, two fascia brackets, an external stop end, a stop-end outlet, two 1 m pipes, two offset bends, two clips, and a diverter. That is the maker's description of the trade pack. It is not printed in our amazon capture. A different amazon ASIN, B01MCY7S3M, does print a contents list and shows 4.3 from 217 reviews. Do not merge them into B01M8J7QQS. One review says 1 m lengths arrived bent. If a length is creased, a union will not pull it straight.

Screws, brackets, and a butt

Roofing Superstore's note on the half-shed pack says the 25 mm × 4 mm screws are not included. The UK reviews say the same thing: you buy the screws. Wickes' MiniFlo sheet sets fascia brackets at a maximum of 500 mm. Two brackets on a 2 m run sit far wider than that. Buy extra 76 mm brackets before you drill. The maker's MS1 list includes a diverter for a water butt. Our capture does not confirm it was in the carton, so check the pieces. A full butt still needs an overflow that is not a foul stack. If a ladder would rest in the gutter, stop.

Apex, porch, and a stick-on strip

Both slopes are a different product. Gutter Supplies lists SPA6X6B for a 6 × 6 apex, at £70.28 on that page, with shoes rather than a diverter. It is not our ASIN, and we did not score it. A peel-and-stick J is the other wrong object. Funnytek's bullet is a 14 × 26 mm channel. Bocguy's listing does not print a section. Neither is a 76 mm gutter with a 50 mm downpipe. Who each listing is for sits on best gutter. For a shed roof, stay with the clipped pack and buy the screws.

Common questions

Will this pack do a whole shed?
The maker's half-shed pack is one side of a standard 6 ft shed. The amazon title in our capture says 2 m, which matches that one wall, not both slopes of an apex and not a porch with two faces. A review with one stop end and one outlet could not finish a two-slope porch. For both slopes of a 6 × 6, look at a separate apex pack rather than doubling a half kit in your head.
What is actually in an MS1, and is that what Amazon sent?
FloPlast's MiniFlo page lists two 1 m gutters, a union, two fascia brackets, a stop end, a stop-end outlet, two 1 m pipes, two offset bends, two clips, and a diverter. Our amazon capture for B01M8J7QQS does not print that list. A different ASIN does. Check the carton against the maker's list. Do not assume the diverter, the colour, or the screws from a page that left the piece line blank.
Are the screws included?
Not on the evidence we have. Roofing Superstore says the 25 mm × 4 mm screws are not in the half-shed pack, and UK reviews on our row say you buy them. The Wickes MiniFlo sheet uses that 25 mm × 4 mm size, with brackets at 500 mm. Two brackets alone will not meet that spacing on a 2 m run. Pick up extra mini brackets with the screws.
How far apart are shed brackets?
Wickes' MiniFlo sheet sets fascia brackets at a maximum of 500 mm and downpipe clips at 1 m. If you use a fall, that sheet uses 1:350. House FloPlast spacing of 1 m is a different system. On a shed, measure the fascia, divide by 500 mm, and buy the brackets the arithmetic needs rather than the two that a short pack may contain.
Can it feed a water butt?
Yes, that is the job the maker's diverter is for, on one side of a small shed. Our amazon page does not confirm the diverter is in the box, so check. A full butt still needs an overflow that is not a foul drain. FloPlast's own area limit is 20 m² to an outlet in the middle at 1:350, which covers a typical 6 ft shed side and does not cover a large workshop.
What if the roof is an apex?
Gutter both slopes with a pack made for that roof. Gutter Supplies' SPA6X6B, at £70.28 on its page, is one example for a 6 × 6 apex: two gutters, two outlets, and shoes rather than a diverter. It is not the amazon half-shed row. A porch with two slopes failed a reviewer's single stop-end kit for the same reason. Count the slopes before you order.
