Updated: 21.10.2026

The WB 60 and the WB 7 Plus are both genuine Kärcher heads for a K 2 to K 7, and they are not the same buy. The WB 60 is the wide, simple soft brush at £17.94. The WB 7 Plus is the heavier 3-in-1 at £34.99, with foam, a flat jet and a brush on one lever. This WB 60 vs WB 7 Plus page stays on those two. What stays the same

Both are specified for Kärcher pressure washers from K 2 to K 7, and neither listing claims a Bosch, a Nilfisk or an AVA. The WB 60, order 2.643-233.0, uses a union nut. The WB 7 Plus, order 2.644-374.0, uses a locking ring. The WB 60 reviews name a K 7, a K 5 and a K 4. The differences that change the buy are width, weight, and where the soap comes from.

Width and weight

The WB 60’s working width is 248 mm on the Amazon listing and on Kärcher’s GB page. Kärcher GB lists about 0.3 kg. The WB 7 Plus does not publish a working width in the bullets we used. What it does publish is 779 g. Kärcher GB says about 0.8 kg, which matches 779 g, and reviews say a full shampoo tank makes it heavier. If the job is mostly wide and soft, the 248 mm head finishes the area with less hardware in the hand.

Soap and the flat jet

The WB 60’s Amazon bullets do not describe a tank. Reviewers say the head sends clean water through and that you soap the car first. You cannot twist a lever on the WB 60 and get foam. The WB 7 Plus tank is why the price is £34.99 rather than £17.94, a gap of £17.05. UK reviews call the tank small and the foam weaker than a separate bottle. The flat jet is high-pressure. On paint, the car page sets the manual’s distance next to Kärcher’s 15 cm figure so the two are not averaged.

When to buy which

Buy the WB 60 when the job is a wide soft pass and you already foam another way. At £17.94, with 4.6 from 7,922 ratings and a 12-month warranty on the listing, it is the simpler K 2 to K 7 brush. Buy the WB 7 Plus when switching accessories is the annoyance, and you will use the foam and the flat jet. At £34.99, with 4.5 from 1,743 ratings, 779 g and a 2-year warranty, it is the right head only if the small tank is enough. Neither score settles paint. Fitting the nut, and leaving the lever alone under pressure, is how to use a Kärcher wash brush.

Common questions

Which is better for a normal car wash?
The WB 60, if you soap first and you want a 248 mm soft pass at £17.94. The WB 7 Plus, if you want foam and a flat rinse on the same head and you accept £34.99, about 0.8 kg, and a small tank. Neither is shown to be swirl-free. UK reviews praise both on paint and also warn you off. Pre-rinse grit either way, and keep the WB 7 Plus flat jet off a close pass.
Which covers a conservatory or a shutter faster?
The WB 60, because 248 mm is a published working width and the head is the lighter of the two on Kärcher’s figures, about 0.3 kg against about 0.8 kg. The WB 7 Plus can still do a polycarbonate roof, as one review describes, but you are carrying the tank. For a narrow grille, neither is ideal. That job is the rigid bayonet brush, which is outside this pair.
Is the WB 7 Plus worth about twice the WB 60 price?
In this batch it is £17.05 more, not a claim that it cleans twice as well. You are paying for the lever, the flat jet and the tank. That is worth it when you currently walk back to change nozzles on every panel. It is poor value when you already own a foam lance and you only wanted soft bristles. The 2-year warranty on the WB 7 Plus listing, against 12 months on the WB 60 listing, is a real difference and still not a reason to carry 779 g for a job the lighter head does.
Will both fit a K 2 and a K 7?
Yes, according to both Amazon scope lines and the Kärcher GB pages: K 2 to K 7. Reviews of the WB 60 name a K 4, a K 5 and a K 7 without leaks. A WB 7 Plus review describes the locking ring on the trigger handle. They will not fit a different brand just because the pressure is similar, and they are not the pet brush for an OC 3.
Can either one replace a foam lance?
No. The WB 60 has no tank in the bullets. The WB 7 Plus has a tank that UK reviews call small, with foam weaker than a separate bottle. Use either brush for contact after the dirt is loose. Use a foam lance, or a proper pre-soak, when thick foam is the point. The flat jet on the WB 7 Plus is a rinse, not a foam cannon.
