One pistol for a small compressor

The ABAC G-503, ASIN B08Z3NKHWD, is £7.37 with 4.5 from 373 ratings. The title states aluminium, a 10 cm nozzle, 3.8 mm and a maximum of 8 bar. The same capture's material line says rubber, and an item-diameter line says 2 mm, so the headline and the spec block are not one description. One UK review says it fitted the hose on a Parkside PKO270 A2 24 litre compressor. Leave it if you wanted a heavy-duty metal gun. Reviewers call the body plastic. ABAC's UK shop page describes a plastic body and air consumption of 2.08 litres per second. That shop figure is the maker's table, not a clean flow line on the amazon capture. A UK reviewer called the nozzle wide and hungry for air. It leads this set on the stated 8 bar line, the review count and the price, and it is a poor buy if the plug on your hose is a different family.

A longer nozzle in the box

The oumuik OD-1, ASIN B0B961MYTZ, is £7.99 with 4.5 from 193 ratings. The title says 1/4 inch BSP, British and German plugs, an aluminium body, copper nozzles and an extension. The details also say 270 g and a thread of 12 x 1.0 mm. Those thread lines are not reconciled. Reviewers who wanted reach praise a focused blast in deep holes and prefer the metal feel to plastic guns that had already failed. The extra 62p is worth paying only if the extension is the feature you came for and the adapters are actually in the parcel. UK reviews include a missing airline fitting, a flimsy trigger, and airflow weaker than another gun on the same hose. Maximum pressure is not stated, and neither is a measured nozzle length. Check the plug against your hose before you rely on the British and German sentence.

Ten guns is not ten matches

The MEANLIN ML-291, ASIN B0GXDVYHVD, is £31.99 for ten guns, with 3.0 from one rating. The title states a 255 mm total length and a 100 mm curved nozzle. A bullet says a 6 mm metal nozzle and a yellow plastic handle. Pressure and thread are not stated. The only written review is from Germany, dated 10 August 2026, and it says the plug described as standard did not fit that reviewer's German couplings. There is no UK review text, so it is not evidence about a PCL socket in a British garage. Buy the ten-pack only if you already know the plug family and you want several identical pistols. Skip it if you need a stated thread, a stated maximum pressure, or a UK review before you spend mid-band money. Dividing £31.99 by ten does not create a tested inlet.

If none of these fit

If the socket on your hose is a known 1/4 inch BSP PCL Standard coupler, a gun that prints that thread and a flow figure is a clearer buy than any of the three. Screwfix listed the PCL BG5002 conical blow gun at £10.99 including VAT, with 270 litres per minute, 1/4 inch BSP and 10 bar. That model is context, not a fourth row in our table. Capri kits whose own text says 1/4 inch NPT are a UK buying problem, and the air blow gun buying guide is where that mismatch is spelled out. None of the kept guns states a flow you can use to dry a car. If you have no compressor, stop. A cordless duster is the other tool, covered on the air blow gun versus an electric duster page. A star rating does not fix a wrong plug.

Common questions

Which of these three should I buy for a home garage?
Choose the ABAC G-503 if you want the £7.37 listing with 373 ratings and a UK review that mentions a Parkside PKO270 A2 24 litre hose, and you accept a body reviewers call plastic. Choose the oumuik OD-1 at £7.99 if the extension and the metal claim are why you are looking, and you will check the fitting is in the box. Skip the MEANLIN ten-pack at £31.99 unless you already know the plug.
Is the ABAC actually aluminium?
The amazon.co.uk title says aluminium. The material line on the same capture says rubber, and reviewers describe plastic. ABAC's UK shop page for the G-503 also describes a plastic body. Treat the shop page as the maker contradicting the amazon headline, not as a flow test of the gun on your hose. If you need a metal body the paperwork agrees on, this listing does not prove it.
Is the oumuik long nozzle worth the extra 62p?
It is worth about 62p when you need the reach and the parcel includes the British and German adapters the bullets promise. It is not worth it if the fitting is missing, which UK reviews do report, or if the 12 x 1.0 mm thread line worries you more than the 1/4 inch BSP title. The nozzle length itself is not given as a measured figure, so long is the listing's word, not a millimetre you can check before delivery.
Is the ten-pack better value at £31.99?
Not on the evidence in this set. You pay mid-band money, about £15 to £35, for ten guns with no stated pressure or thread and one German review that says the plug did not fit. A single entry pistol is about £6 to £12. Ten unknown inlets are not a discount on one inlet you have matched.
Will any of them dry a car?
Do not plan on it. None of the three states litres per minute. A UK ABAC review called the nozzle hungry for air. A home tank of 6 to 50 litres, used as a dryer, falls off quickly, and the jet is a poor tool for paint, trim and water trapped in seams. If the job is a keyboard or a camera, use a duster or a can instead of these pistols.
What should I buy if none of the plugs match my hose?
Buy the plug that matches the socket, or a gun that states 1/4 inch BSP in that same family. The PCL BG5002 at Screwfix is a priced example with a stated flow, and it sits outside this table. Do not force an NPT kit into a BSP port. If you have no compressor, buy a duster instead of another pistol.
