EasyAquatak vs UniversalAquatak

Updated: 21.10.2026

The names look like a ladder. EasyAquatak 120, then UniversalAquatak 135, fifteen bar apart, as if the dearer badge simply washed harder. On 19 October 2026 the bare EasyAquatak 120 was £89.95 and the UniversalAquatak 135 was £108 in our [Bosch pressure washer comparison](/hub/compressors/bosch-pressure-washer). The gap that changes the afternoon is 350 litres per hour and a 5 m hose against 450 litres per hour and a 7 m hose. This EasyAquatak vs UniversalAquatak page, from the Products Compared editorial team, says when each side is the right buy. It is not a lab test. The gap that matters

The bare EasyAquatak 120, part 06008A7971, is 1500 W, 120 bar and 350 L/h, with a 5 m hose and a 4.1 kg listing weight. The UniversalAquatak 135 is 1900 W, 135 bar and 450 L/h, with a 7 m hose and a 3-in-1 nozzle, at £108. Fifteen bar is the small print. One hundred extra litres an hour and two extra metres of hose are the reach across a car. A third-party table may still quote about 410 L/h and 7.9 kg for the 135. This amazon capture says 450 L/h and 6.55 kg. Do not average 6.55 with 7.9. Neither carton includes a patio cleaner. Wider criteria sit on the Bosch pressure washer buying guide.

When the EasyAquatak 120 is the right side

Choose the bare 120 when the machine has to stay small: a flat, a balcony, or a single car close to the tap. Parkers reviewed the 120 as a first corded washer, especially on paint, and did not test the 135. Use the 4.1 kg listing weight against the 135’s 6.55 kg listing weight. At £89.95 against £108 you save about £18, which is a false saving when every wash means shifting the machine twice.

When the UniversalAquatak 135 is the right side

Choose the 135 when the patio is medium or you care about hose reach. A car on a drive, plus the slabs beside it, is where the extra two metres and the extra 100 L/h show up. You still do not get a surface cleaner. Stone work still depends on a wide fan or a separate head, which the Bosch pressure washer for a patio page covers. At 6.55 kg on this listing it is a step up from 4.1 kg. Skip the 135 if the only surface is a balcony.

The 125 and the patio-cleaner kit are not a third range

The UniversalAquatak 125 at £115 is 360 L/h and a 5 m hose, nearer the Easy on reach than the 135 at £108. Reviews mention a flimsy extended handle and a fussy inlet. Self-priming appears in a review, not in the spec table. Take the 125 only when the 135 is out of stock. The £130.86 Easy kit adds a patio head and does not add flow or hose.

The recommendation with a condition

Fifteen bar is not the reason to leave this pair. The AdvancedAquatak 140, at £208.99 and 17.6 kg, is the exit for a large drive where a 100 bar washer already failed to finish. It shares 450 L/h with the 135, and its manual rates the pump at 11 MPa. The Fontus 18V-6 is a body-only cleaner with a 6 litre tank, not a 120 or 135 bar Aquatak.

Common questions

Is 15 bar more worth the money?
The £18 between £89.95 and £108 buys 100 L/h and 2 m of hose, not a 15 bar trophy. That is worth it on a medium patio and a car you cannot reach with 5 m. It is a weak reason on a balcony where the Easy already finishes and you must store the heavier Universal. Judge the pair on flow and hose.
Which is better for a car?
Either will wash a car with a fan jet and some distance on the paint. The EasyAquatak 120 is the one Parkers framed as a first washer, at 350 L/h and 5 m. The UniversalAquatak 135 is the better car choice when the car sits further from the tap, or you are doing the car and the slabs together, because of the 7 m hose and 450 L/h. A rotary jet is harsher than a fan on paint on both.
Which is better for a medium patio?
The UniversalAquatak 135. This listing gives 450 L/h and 7 m rather than 350 L/h and 5 m, which matches Bosch’s medium-patio placement. It still has no patio cleaner, so a narrow jet can stripe the slabs. The Easy kit’s 250 mm head helps a smaller terrace. It does not turn 350 L/h into the Universal’s flow. If 100 bar already felt slow on flagstones, you are past both and into the Advanced class.
Is the UniversalAquatak 125 the same decision as the 135?
No. The 125 is 360 L/h and a 5 m hose at £115. The 135 is 450 L/h and a 7 m hose at £108. Both have a 3-in-1 nozzle. Choosing the 125 because it sits between Easy and Universal spends more to stay closer to the Easy on reach and flow. Buy it only if the 135 is not available.
When do I leave this choice and buy the Advanced instead?
When the area is a large drive where a 100 bar machine already failed to finish, and you can store about 18 kg. The AdvancedAquatak 140 is £208.99, 2100 W and 450 L/h, with an 8 m hose field. Its manual rates the pump at 11 MPa. It is an exit from this page, not a compromise between Easy and Universal. A balcony is never that exit.
