Best 300 bar compressor

Updated: 21.10.2026

You want one name from the eight portable pumps on this comparison, and the star ratings will not give it to you cleanly. The 4.5 belongs to a listing with six ratings. The cheapest listing has hazard reviews. The biggest file has a 110 V specification table. A best 300 bar compressor, inside this set, means the pump you can power on UK mains and watch while it fills a small rifle cylinder. It does not mean a Hill or a shop GX. Those sit outside the table, often around £390–£980. Cards and prices are on the [300 bar compressor comparison](/hub/compressors/300-bar-compressor).

What best can mean here

Products Compared scored the eight amazon.co.uk listings we kept on 19 October 2026. The score uses the star line, whether the voltage field matches a UK socket, whether shut-off is real, and what UK reviews actually report. It is not a lab test, and it is not a claim that any pump reaches 300 bar in your bottle every time. Shelf prices run from £132 to £259. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Best in a magazine roundup often means a workshop compressor near £900. Airgun World’s gear list and a Hill EC-3000 EVO-310 at a Sheffield shop, about £899.99, are that other market. We did not test those machines, and we do not import them into this table. If you want a UK shop, a known service agent and a manual written for 240 V, leave amazon.co.uk and pay the shop price. If you are choosing among these eight, sample size and the voltage field matter more than a lone 4.5. Trade-offs without a named skip are in the buying guide.

The listings with enough reviews to read

The TUXING TXES062 at £169, ASIN B0C6QBDS7W, is the top pick in this set. The specification table says 220 V, the listing states 350 W, 11 litres per minute and 8.5 kg, and the star line is 3.8 from 90 ratings. Reviewers describe PCP fills in a few minutes and a cable spool used instead of a hand pump. The shut-off is a needle on the analogue gauge, with temperature on the screen, according to a UK review. The same file repeats units that died after months, a fan that smoked, weak seller support and an EU-style adaptor. The other TXES062, ASIN B0C4Y9T3RD at £179.90, has the larger sample at 4.2 from 161 ratings, a stated auto-stop and the same 11 litres per minute. Its table says 110 V, while the bullets claim a converter for 220 V and 12 V. Reviews include airsoft and PCP fills, failures within days, a short hose and a pump that walked across the bench. Do not merge the warranty with the £169 listing because the model string matches. The TUXING TXES061 at £152.99 has 3.9 from 737 ratings, the widest file here, and reviewers use it as a stirrup-pump replacement. Reviews also say there is no on/off switch and no auto-stop, the table says 110 V, and one owner needed an adaptor for an S410.

Listings to skip or read twice

The TUDIVING at £139, also badged TXES061, is 2.8 from eight ratings. One of two UK reviews says the advertised preset is missing, so you can overfill if you walk away. Sharing a model number with the 737-rating TUXING does not share a warranty. The water-cooled TUXING TXES022 at £179 is 4.5 from six ratings, 16 kg, 220 V and 1,800 W, with VG46 oil mentioned in a bullet. Six ratings cannot carry a best claim, however tidy the cooling looks. The £259 dual-cylinder TUXING has a 110 V table, a UK review that asks for a 240 V to 110 V transformer, and an airflow figure of 30 cubic metres per minute that you should ignore. The £132 SDKEHUI has 220 V, 4.0 from 35 ratings, and short reviews that praise rifle fills. It also has UK reviews of a gauge blown off the housing, exposed live connections, and a case too hot to touch within two minutes. That is the wrong listing to call best value. The £220.15 SDKEHUI has the clearest 230 V field and only 15 ratings, including one that stopped near 3,000 psi. The rifle limit is on the PCP air rifle page.

If you want a shop compressor instead

A forum thread on AirGun Forums records owners who left a cheap compressor after an early failure and moved to a Hill or a GX. That is anecdote, not a failure rate for every TUXING. It does match the pattern in the £169 reviews: some fills go well, and some machines die. A shop machine in the £390–£980 band is the alternative when you want a UK invoice and someone to phone. We have not scored those compressors here. Inside this set, buy the £169 TUXING if the live page still shows 220 V, your bottle is a small rifle cylinder, and you will stay with the needle. Buy the £152.99 TUXING only as the best-value file if you have solved the 110 V question and you accept a manual watch. Skip the £132 listing if you are uncomfortable with the gauge and live-parts reviews. Skip all eight if you need breathing air.

Common questions

Which listing has the most ratings?
The TUXING TXES061 at £152.99 has 3.9 from 737 ratings, the largest count in the set. The next is the £179.90 TXES062 at 4.2 from 161, then the £169 TXES062 at 3.8 from 90. A high count tells you the complaints are repeated, including a missing switch and a 110 V table on the £152.99 unit. It does not, by itself, mean the pump is the one to plug into a UK socket.
Is the 4.5-star model the best?
No. That 4.5 is the water-cooled TUXING TXES022 at £179, from six ratings. The saved listing has only a handful of UK comments. The listing is interesting if you want 220 V and a water pump, and it is too thin to rank above a pump with 90 or 161 ratings. Treat 4.5 from six as unstable. The same caution applies to 2.8 from eight on the TUDIVING.
Are the two TXES062 listings the same pump?
They share the model string TXES062 and a stated 350 W and 11 litres per minute. They are different ASINs, different prices (£169 and £179.90), and different voltage fields: 220 V on the cheaper one, 110 V on the other, with a converter claimed only in the bullets. Reviews and included parts do not match line for line. Do not assume a spare, a filter or a warranty from one listing covers the other.
Should I avoid the £132 SDKEHUI?
Read it before you buy it. Many short UK reviews say it fills a rifle and beats a hand pump, and the table says 220 V at the lowest price in the set. Two UK reviews describe a gauge leaving the housing and exposed live parts, and another says the case was too hot within two minutes. We do not call that best value. If those reviews are acceptable to you and you will stay in the room, the listing is still on the table.
Is the £259 dual-cylinder worth it on UK mains?
Only if the live page shows an input you can use without a step-down transformer. The specification table says 110 V, a bullet says 220 V, and a UK reviewer said a 240 V to 110 V transformer was needed. There are few UK reviews, and the airflow number on the listing is not credible. You would be paying the highest price in the set for a voltage argument. The £169 listing is the clearer mains bet inside this comparison.
What if I want UK workshop support instead?
Look at a gun-shop compressor, not at a higher star rating on these eight. Hill and similar portables were listed around £390–£980 in October 2026 searches, and we did not test them. You are paying for a UK seller, a manual aimed at 240 V, and someone who will still answer. That is a fair reason to leave this set. It is not a reason to pretend those machines were in the amazon.co.uk table.
Who should not buy any of these?
Skip the set if you need air to breathe, a large cylinder from empty, or a pump you can leave running. Also skip it if you will not open the live page to check 110 V against 230 V. A separator is not BS EN 12021. A model number shared by TUXING and TUDIVING is not one product. If your only goal is the highest star rating, the six-rating listing will mislead you.
