Worx circular saw buying guide

Updated: October 2026

You have five Worx cordless circular saws open on amazon.co.uk. This Worx circular saw buying guide is the order to use before you compare stars: what the included line actually names, which depth you can cite, then which fields copy the model number. The five-row table, with prices and scores, stays on the [Worx circular saw comparison](/hub/power-saws/worx-circular-saw). Who should leave with one listing is on the [best Worx circular saw](/hub/power-saws/worx-circular-saw/sub/worx-circular-saw-best) page. The Products Compared editorial team read those amazon.co.uk listings on 16 October 2026 and did not run a lab cut. What is in the box

Only the WX531 kit, ASIN B083PBR6V2, names a battery in the included line. At £99.00 it lists a battery, a charger, a case and three blades, and a bullet says the pack is 2.0 Ah. The bare WX531.9, B083PBYLHY, is £99.35 and lists three blades, a hex key and a vacuum adaptor. It does not list a battery, a charger or a case, and it is 4.4 from 159 reviews. On these two shelf prices the bare saw is the worse deal, because you have to buy a PowerShare pack.

Which depth the listing actually states

The kit bullets state 41 mm at 90 degrees and 29.5 mm at 45 degrees. The bare item type also states 41 mm. Timber a UK review put near 47 mm is already past that figure, and a stated depth is not a promise that a thin sheet will not stall if you push. The WX530.9 page, B077MHGSTD at £101.99, states no depth. Worx UK states 55 mm for that body, which is not an Amazon field, on the Worx ExacTrack circular saw page. The Nitro body, B08BCKXP7K at £160.75, states 65 mm at 90 degrees. The Worx UK WX520 kit page prints 64 mm in one line and 67.5 mm in the table. Do not merge those into the Amazon figure. Thicker stock belongs on Worx WX531 vs WX520.

Titles and wattage fields to leave alone

The kit's blade-length field says 46 mm and the bare saw's says 41 mm, while both titles say 120 mm. Wattage fields of 531 watts and 520.9 watts copy the model number, and the bare saw's wattage field says 200 watts. Do not quote them as motor power. B077MHGSTD's title says a TCT/HSS saw blade and the item type says an ExacTrack cordless circular saw. B098XRTG7Q is £127.49, shares the Nitro hero image, then says 5,200 RPM, blade shape Rectangular, origin Turkey and manufacturer Positec. The 14 saved review bodies are from Italy, Germany and Spain. Do not fold that page into the Nitro saw.

What to decide before you add to basket

No Worx battery, and timber inside 41 mm, points at the £99.00 kit. A pack you already own still has to be matched to the depth before the stars. A straight rip is the ExacTrack question. Thicker stock is the Nitro question, and the battery is extra on top of £160.75. Several kit reviews are missing blades, and bare-saw reviews are missing the Allen key. Section 22 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives 30 days to reject a short delivery. It does not cover every stall.

Common questions

Does the price include a battery?
Only B083PBR6V2 names one. The included line lists a battery, a charger, a case and three blades, and a bullet says 2.0 Ah, at £99.00. The bare WX531.9 at £99.35, the ExacTrack body at £101.99 and the Nitro body at £160.75 do not name a battery. On B098XRTG7Q the included line is the saw only, so a battery is not stated.
Will 41 mm cross 18 mm plywood?
The kit bullets and the bare item type state 41 mm at 90 degrees, which is deeper than 18 mm. UK reviews on the bare saw include sheet, MDF and 18 mm ply with a 4 Ah pack, and they also include cut-outs on 9 mm to 12 mm ply and a heat shutdown on a long 18 mm rip. A stated depth is not the same as a saw that will not stall if you push.
Is 20 V a different battery from the 18 V on the item type?
The voltage row says 20 volts, and the item type also says 18V (20V MAX). On these listings that is one PowerShare family, which the bullets say also feeds Worx 40 V and 80 V tools. It is not a claim that another brand's pack will fit. Match the pack the included line names, or the packs you already own, rather than treating 18 and 20 as two purchases.
Which listing is a saw even though the title says blade?
B077MHGSTD. The title says a TCT/HSS saw blade and the highlight says tool only. The item type says an ExacTrack cordless circular saw, the rank is in Circular Saws, and the included line is the WX530.9. Buy it as a bare saw. Do not buy it as a spare blade, and do not expect a rail in that box.
Can the two WX520.9 pages be treated as one product?
No. B08BCKXP7K at £160.75 names a 190 mm blade, a parallel guide and 65 mm in the item type. B098XRTG7Q at £127.49 shares the hero image and the model number, then diverges: 5,200 RPM, blade shape Rectangular, origin Turkey, manufacturer Positec, and no United Kingdom review bodies in the saved sample. Quote the Nitro included line if you want the deeper saw.
What if the blades or the hex key are missing?
Several kit reviews arrived without the blades, and bare-saw reviews arrived without the Allen key. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 22, you have 30 days to reject goods that do not conform. Photograph the contents and use Amazon's return path. A missing key is not a reason to force a blade change with the wrong tool, and a stall later in the job is a separate complaint.
