What you are actually buying

This scrape keeps six ASINs: the corded PSA 700 E at £74.99; the corded GSA 12-30 at £142.10; the bare PSA 18V-200 at £110.53; the bare GSA 18V-24 at £139.98 and GSA 18V-28 at £201.95; and the Keo at £69.98 with battery and charger excluded. None of the cordless prices is a working saw unless you already own the correct pack. A 4.9 from eight reviews on the GSA 12-30 is weaker evidence than a 4.6 from 1,878 on the PSA 700 E. Use Bosch’s UK pages for stroke and vibration when the amazon cell is blank.

Cord, battery, or garden saw

If the work sits by a socket, the PSA 700 E includes 230 V and one wood blade. UK reviews repeat no lock-off and a short cable. The GSA 12-30 at £142.10 has two blades, a case and a 30 mm stroke in the bullets, while amazon says ac_dc and prints no voltage. The manual states 1,250 W, 230 V, class II and a BS 1363/A plug on GB products. Without a lead you are in the bare 18 V bodies: green PSA 18V-200 on Power for All, GSA 18V-24 at 24 mm and 9.1 m/s², GSA 18V-28 at 28 mm and 23.1 m/s². Shrubs within roughly 60–80 mm are the Keo. Green Power for All or blue Professional

Treat green and blue as two battery economies. Power for All covers the PSA 18V-200 and the Keo. Professional 18 V and AMPShare cover the GSA 18V-24 and GSA 18V-28. A pack that fits a green drill will not drive a blue GSA. The PSA 18V-200 listing is green, yet one UK review calls it Professional 18 V while another says Power for All. Read the part page and your existing packs. Mid-band listings run about £110 to £145 for the tool alone. The GSA 18V-28 at £201.95 is still without a battery. If you own neither platform, the corded PSA 700 E is the line that includes mains power in the box price.

Cells you should not merge

The PSA 700 E special-features cell says Brushless. Bosch DIY describes a corded 710 W tool and does not call it brushless. Treat that cell as a listing error until both sources agree. The GSA 18V-28 wattage cell copies equal to 1,100 W even though the tool runs on a battery. The Keo prints model 0600861A01 and part number 06008C1H01. Bosch DIY gives 20 mm, 24 mm and 28 mm for the PSA 700 E, GSA 18V-24 and GSA 18V-28. Only the GSA 12-30 bullets state 30 mm. Blades are 1/2 inch S-shank. HSE INDG175 sets a daily action value of 2.5 m/s² A(8). Bosch declares 9.1 m/s² and 23.1 m/s² on the two blue bodies.

Common questions

Does the amazon price include a battery?
Only the corded PSA 700 E and GSA 12-30 include mains power in the box as sold here. The PSA 18V-200, both GSA cordless bodies and the Keo exclude a battery on these listings. The £110 or £201 line is not the full cordless price.
Is green 18 V the same as blue 18 V?
No. Power for All is the DIY green platform for the PSA 18V-200 and Keo. Professional 18 V and AMPShare serve the blue GSA models. Packs are not interchangeable between those lines.
What stroke do these Bosch models actually have?
Use Bosch UK pages when amazon is blank: 20 mm PSA 700 E, 24 mm GSA 18V-24, 28 mm GSA 18V-28, 30 mm claimed in GSA 12-30 bullets. Do not copy category FAQ figures that disagree with the manual.
Why does the PSA 700 E listing say brushless?
The special-features cell says Brushless while Bosch DIY does not describe that motor type on the PSA 700 E part page. Treat the conflict as a listing error until both sources agree.
Why does the GSA 18V-28 say 1,100 W?
Marketing compares brushless performance to a corded wattage class. The power source remains an 18 V battery; the amazon wattage cell repeats the slogan literally.
Is the Keo a demolition saw?
No. It is a garden saw for branches within Bosch’s stated diameters with the correct grip, not a two-handed pallet cutter. Amazon’s category placement is misleading for that job.
Can the amazon weight and the Bosch weight both be true?
Often one is tool only and one is shipped weight with battery or case, or amazon rounds differently. Compare like with like on the part-number page, not merged cells.
What should you skip if you only need branches?
Skip full-size recips unless the branch is on the ground and clamped. Start with the Keo page and Power for All compatibility before you buy a GSA for pruning.
