Ultrasonic fogger buying guide

Updated: October 2026

You typed ultrasonic fogger because a bowl, a pond, or a Halloween pot needs a low cloud, and Amazon has answered with a £12.99 disc and a £129 board on the same grid. This ultrasonic fogger buying guide is the order to use before you add anything to the basket: the job, then the head count, then a float and a splash guard, then spare discs, then where the mains block sits. The [ultrasonic fogger comparison](/hub/pest-control/ultrasonic-fogger) holds the twelve amazon.co.uk rows. Products Compared did not run a lab test. What an ultrasonic fogger is in this comparison

In this set, an ultrasonic fogger is a ceramic disc that sits under water and throws a cool mist. A mains adapter feeds the head at 24 V, or a larger board at about 45–48 V. Amazon files most of these ASINs under Pond Foggers. Shoppers use them as a pond ornament, a cauldron effect, or a small humidifier. Ultrasonic here means the vibrating disc, not a plug-in sound repeller. The Health and Safety Executive says a member of the public uses only a biocidal product labelled for the general public, and only for the purpose on the label. None of these twelve pages shows an HSE number. If the job is killing insects, read ultrasonic fogger versus an insect fogger.

One disc, four heads, or twelve

Match the head count to the container you already have. A bowl or a cauldron is a single disc, about £12.99 to £21.99 here. Bullets that state an output say about 300–400 ml/h: Aobiforu at least 400, GlintBay 300, and the Mxmoonant single-head kit 350. The only four-head file is the Walfront at £41.93, titled DC 45–48 V, 1.7 MHz, and 2 m², with no ml/h figure and no Customer Reviews line. The 12-head boards are the Rengue at £89.60, the MUALROUS at £97.99, and the Mxmoonant at £129. Their bullets say 8.4–9.0 litres an hour, and up to about 9 m² indoors and 7 m² outdoors. Wind still clears a cloud. The ultrasonic pond fogger page treats shelter as the limit. A 3-head Mxmoonant, ASIN B08912HC8H, is not one of the twelve.

Float, splash guard, spare discs, and a UK plug

A float matters once the water is deeper than a bowl. It is stated on the Mxmoonant 350 ml/h kits, the BrightArk cauldron set, the Rengue, the MUALROUS, and the Mxmoonant 12-head. Wandou, Olutula, Aobiforu, MOXTOYU, GlintBay, and Walfront do not state one. MUALROUS says the buoy is for water deeper than 7 cm. The £129 Mxmoonant says the float is for depths over 8 cm. A splash guard is stated on Olutula, MOXTOYU, GlintBay, and both Mxmoonant 350 ml/h kits. Spare discs are stated for the 350 ml/h files (three 20 mm), the £129 Mxmoonant (ten), and the MUALROUS (twelve). Wandou’s kit bullet is the atomizer and the transformer only. Wandou states a UK plug in the title, GlintBay states one in the bullet, and the Mxmoonant kits state a UK adapter. Outdoor use still wants a 30 mA RCD.

What the listing is allowed to leave blank

B0F23YKRB5 and B0F2XX3L3Y share the title, the £18.99 price, and the part CCY-111-UK. Both model fields say no LED. One review of the second wishes the colours would stop cycling. Do not treat that ASIN as a confirmed LED version. Olutula and MOXTOYU share the model string CM-20LET: nine ratings against 209. The MOXTOYU attribute block prints 265 W on a 220 g head. The five bullets do not repeat it. Aobiforu’s bullets describe 24 V while the power-source field says no. When a listing says IP67 and also do not immerse, follow the do-not-immerse line. Which row to keep is on the best ultrasonic fogger page.

Common questions

Do I need 1 head or 12?
One disc for a bowl or a cauldron. A 12-head board only if you are chasing a litres-per-hour claim. The Walfront at £41.93 is the only four-head file, and it has no reviews.
Does it come with a UK plug?
Only where the listing says so. Wandou puts a UK plug in the title, GlintBay puts one in the bullet, and the Mxmoonant kits say a UK adapter. A shared model code is not a shared plug.
Are spare discs in the box?
They are stated for the Mxmoonant 350 ml/h kits (three), the MUALROUS (twelve), and the £129 Mxmoonant (ten). Wandou’s bullet is the atomizer and the transformer only.
Will LEDs make more mist?
No. LEDs are a light show. Output, where a listing states one, is a millilitres-per-hour bullet on the disc or the board. Olutula can be rank 1 in Pond Foggers with lights and still have only nine reviews. Rank and sample size belong in the same sentence.
Is a 12-head board the same job as a Halloween cauldron?
No. A cauldron is one disc in a pot, and only the BrightArk row includes a 20 cm pot. A 12-head board is a buoy and a litres-per-hour claim. The outdoor 7 m² lines are bullets, not a windy lawn.
Why do two Mxmoonant listings share a part number and disagree about lights?
B0F23YKRB5 and B0F2XX3L3Y are both CCY-111-UK at £18.99, and both model fields say no LED. One review of the second listing describes cycling colours. Buy one of them, not both, and use the live photos. The model field on its own does not settle the lights.
