The FELCO 8 here is Renewed at £54.66, with an angled head and 4.7 from 3,080 reviews. A new FELCO 8 on the shop is £65, so the discount is the condition. The FELCO 5 at £36.50 is pressed steel at 317 g. Its handle-material field says Aluminium, which contradicts those bullets. Amazon’s blade-type field says Anvil on the FELCO 2, 5, 16, and 12, and Bypass on the 8 and 14. Felco calls these bypass tools. The anvil-action FELCO 32 is not in this set.

Why does Amazon say Anvil on a FELCO 2?

Is the £54.66 FELCO 8 the same as a new one?
The title says Renewed. Felco’s shop lists a new FELCO 8 at £65, while this Amazon FELCO 2 is £59.89. The lower price is the condition. One UK review describes a packet that had been opened and taped shut. Choose an 8 for the angled head only if you accept Renewed.
When is 25 mm not enough?
When the stem is thicker than the figure for that model. The FELCO 2, 5, and 8 are the 25 mm tools. The FELCO 14 is 18 mm, and the FELCO 12 and 16 are 20 mm. Forcing a thicker stem marks the edge. Use a lopper or a saw, and stop for a ladder or wood you are not set up to disinfect.
