Best solar ground lights

Updated: 22 October 2026

You want one pack for a long border, a smaller box for a short edge, or a reason to leave the dearest 4-pack in the basket. Best solar ground lights in the UK, on this page, means which of eight amazon.co.uk captures fits that job, with a line for who should skip it. There is no single winner for every garden. Prices and stars below are the 19 October 2026 extracts in our [solar ground lights comparison](/hub/garden-decor/solar-ground-lights), not a live scrape and not a lab. What best can mean here

This page may only judge the eight captures we kept. Catalogue fields of 960 and 1600 lumen stay unused as brightness scores. Stars are not a seal test. The checks before a brand sit on the solar ground lights buying guide.

Long border, more reviews

Torchtree B0BYS9GD2Y is the top pick for a long soil border: £13.22 for eight disks, 4.6 from 2,496 ratings, IP65 and a 600 mAh cell in the bullets, a ground spike, and bright white with no Kelvin printed. Screws are not in the box. Skip it if you need a printed Kelvin or a deck fixing. The 4.6 line does not prove that water never gets in. btfarm B0CR1GMZ9M is the best value larger pack: £16.56 for ten, 4.5 from 2,236, cool white at 5000 K, IP65, and a spiral stake after the switch is ON. Reviewers describe a path edge, not a flood. One review says some units did not last the winter. Another says a set survived a Manchester winter on the north side. Neither sentence is a rate. Skip it for decking or a warm seating edge.

Warm white, and the shared Dankeled reviews

Both Dankeled 12-packs are £18.69. Cool white B0GFDHZ197 prints 5500 K. Warm white B0GFDTGVB7 prints 2800 K. Both show 4.5 from 213 and the same review bodies, so you cannot say the warm listing is better liked. A shared-pool review says only a handful survived two to three weeks, with condensation. Another says the plastic base comes off. Skip both for decking, and if you need colour-specific reviews. Solpex B0G5LDS1Y7 is £22.99 for ten, 4.5 from 67, warm white with no Kelvin, and a stake. At about £2.30 a disk it is dearer than Dankeled and Torchtree. Why the two whites should not share one path stays on warm white versus cool white.

Fewer units, screws or tape

Caldarax B0CBDXPBWC is £11.04 for four, the lowest basket, cool white at 6000 K, 4.5 from 403, and two spikes. About £2.76 a light is more than the 8- and 10-packs, so the cheap basket is not the best value per marker. A UK review says rain gets into similar disks. Skip it for a long border and for decking. iBaycon B0FWB5LDT9 is the screw option: £19.99 for twelve, 6000 K, 4.4 from 628. The bullets claim IP68 with no depth and time, and pre-drilled holes for a deck, step, or fence. One review reports water inside after a few weeks. Ignore December 2022 comments about RGB and a remote. They are a different product. YiLaie B0GWHMYJTM is £29.99 for four, about £7.50 a light, 6500 K, and 4.4 from 45, with tape in the box. One review says the cell cannot be reached. The top pick remains Torchtree. The best value beside it, for 5000 K and ten disks, is btfarm. The first night is on how to install solar ground lights.

Common questions

Which pack has enough UK reviews to judge?
Torchtree’s 2,496 ratings and btfarm’s 2,236 are the samples large enough to see a pattern. Caldarax at 403 and iBaycon at 628 are usable with more caution. Dankeled’s 213 is one pool shared by two colours. Solpex at 67 and YiLaie at 45 are thin. A high star line on a thin sample is not the same evidence.
Is the cheapest 4-pack the best value?
Caldarax at £11.04 is the smallest basket, not the lowest price per disk. About £2.76 a light is more than Torchtree at about £1.65 or btfarm at about £1.66. Those figures are arithmetic on the captured shelf prices. They are not a market index, and they do not include how long a cell lasts.
Why is YiLaie much more per light?
The listing’s own reason is a 1000 mAh claim, an IP68 weld, and tape in the box. That claim is not independently tested here. You also get four lights and 45 ratings. If you do not need the tape, the extra pounds are hard to justify against an 8-pack with thousands of reviews.
Can I trust the Dankeled star rating for warm white on its own?
No. The warm and cool listings share the review texts and the 213-rating line. A condensation complaint in that pool is not proof that 2800 K failed and 5500 K did not. Buy the Kelvin you want, and treat the stars as a shared score.
Does a 4.6-star pack mean water will not get in?
No. Torchtree’s 4.6 from 2,496 is a strong satisfaction signal in this capture. Water-inside comments still appear on other disks here, including iBaycon, the shared Dankeled pool, and a Caldarax note about rain. Stars are not an IP test.
Are the 960 lumen and 1600 lumen catalogue fields usable?
Not as measurements. btfarm’s 960 and Caldarax’s 1600 sit in catalogue rows that also mis-state bulb bases. Reviewers describe markers. BBC Gardeners' World's practical-spot band is a different product class, and that magazine did not test these ASINs.
