Autumn is not a second summer feed

Most lawns recover without feed. If you feed, the RHS limits an autumn formula to September to mid-October, and only if the lawn needs it. Do not push leafy growth after August with leftover high-nitrogen feed. Fast Green concentrate is March to September. The hose spray’s 2025 label is 27-0-0 with iron. Those are not autumn formulae. Westland runs to October and stops in frost. Its sheet is 6-2-4, not an autumn-and-early-winter claim. GreenCare GC-GFEED is the autumn-labelled liquid: cold-pressed seaweed, 5 ml per litre in a can. The listings do not print an NPK. A 90 m² lawn in the second week of September, still growing and not a moss carpet, may take that formula if you already decided to feed. It does not take a second Fast Green pass for winter colour.

What the GreenCare captures print

The untitled listing is about £12.95. The 5 L title is about £19.95. The 10 L title is about £39.95. Every attribute block says 10,000 ml and 5 kg. Bullets name both 500 m² and 1,000 m². The product data does not reconcile that. A 5.0 from one truncated text does not outrank 4.6 from 627 or prove a 1,000 m² cover. A check on 21 October 2026 still showed the 5 L title at £19.95. Feed is not a mosskiller

None of these six captures claims to kill moss or weeds. The HSE treats lawn sand and feed-and-weed as plant protection products. Feeding a moss carpet will not lift the moss. Do not empty leftover mix toward a drain. The Farming Rules for Water bind agricultural land managers in England, not a typical householder. Children and pets stay off until the grass is dry. The 10 L title does not answer the pets question.

Three choices at the end of September

Skip feeding, because most lawns do not need it. Cross-check the GreenCare fill if you already wanted that label. Or wait until spring. Do not pour Fast Green on a frosty morning.

Should I feed the lawn in September at all?
Only if the lawn needs it. The RHS default is that most lawns recover without feed. If you do feed, use an autumn formula from September to mid-October. Do not push leafy growth after August with leftover summer nitrogen. A tired colour after drought is not automatically an autumn-feed job.
Can I use Miracle-Gro Fast Green after August?

The 5 L title is about £19.95. The 10 L title is about £39.95. The untitled listing is about £12.95. Every file still says 10,000 ml and 5 kg, and every file still names both 500 m² and 1,000 m². Titles are not a reconciled fill.
Why do all three say 10,000 ml and 5 kg?
That is what the attribute blocks print. The product data does not resolve it. Treat the clash as a reason to read the cap, not as proof that you are getting 10 L for about £12.95 or 5 L for about £39.95. Do not publish a cost per square metre from those coverage lines.
Will this liquid kill autumn moss?
No. None of the six captures claims to kill moss or weeds. A mosskiller is a plant protection product. If moss is the job, you have left this comparison. Feeding a mossy, wet lawn will not lift the moss.
Is one five-star review enough to buy the £39.95 title?
