Bosch Professional combi drill buying guide

Updated: 22 October 2026

You are looking at a blue Bosch Professional combi and the prices do not line up, because some cartons are a bare body and some include batteries you may already own. This buying guide puts the questions in the order that changes the invoice: which battery family you are in, whether the box contains packs, and how large a hole you drill. The six listings on the [Bosch professional cordless combi drill comparison](/hub/drilling-and-accessories/bosch-professional-cordless-combi-drill) are the only prices used here, from £84.99 to £239.99 on amazon.co.uk. There is no lab test. A qualifying purchase can earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Start with the battery you already own

The first split is the slide, not the torque. Professional 18 V packs sit on AMPShare. Green POWER FOR ALL packs do not fit, and a UK buyer returned the GSB 18V-25 for that. B07ZKXYKVB, at £239.99, is a 12 V family: GSB 12V-15, GDR 12V-105, two 2.0 Ah packs and a GAL 12V-40. Those packs do not run an 18 V GSB. Skip the set if you already own blue 18 V batteries, unless you want a lighter second drill. Weight stays on the 12 V or 18 V page. A body-only price is cheaper only when the slide already matches.

Body only or batteries in the box

B0DQV7T3GJ, the 65 body, is £84.99 with an L-BOXX and no battery. B083QM7PLT, the cardboard 110 C, is £149.99 with no battery. B083QMJR8Y, the L-BOXX 110 C, is £186.00, still with no battery or charger. B0FJSJTMDW, the 25 kit, is £149.99 with two 4.0 Ah batteries and a GAL 18V-40. B0DSQ5D79J, the 65 kit, is £199.98 with batteries titled 5.0 Ah. With no packs, compare those two kits, not the £84.99 body. One 65-kit review found 4.0 Ah packs. The 25’s L-Case does not lock to an L-BOXX.

Match torque to the hole, not to the biggest number

Bosch states 110 Nm, masonry to 16 mm and about 1.9 kg for the GSB 18V-110 C, order code 06019G0309. Fit the side handle. Collar settings are on the how to use page. The 65 is a 175 mm head at 1.1 kg. Treat 65 Nm as the model name; cells also print 55 Nm. The 25 prints a 10 mm chuck, and the manual is in the 10 mm masonry class. A lintel is on the combi or SDS page. Bluetooth is not in the 110 C box.

What the listing table gets wrong

The 25 prints 60 Nm and 10 Nm, and calls a GSB an impact driver. The 65 body prints a 175 mm chuck, which is the head length. The 12 V set prints 120 Nm and 2.6 rpm for two tools. Bosch states 30 Nm hard and 15 Nm soft for the GSB 12V-15. The cardboard 110 C prints 12.7 × 10.4 × 4.5 cm, smaller than the chuck, and UK reviews describe a crunchy chuck and a bit that falls out. The L-BOXX 110 C does not carry that cluster. With 18 V packs and a 16 mm hole, take the L-BOXX. With no packs and a 10 mm hole, take the £149.99 25 kit.

Common questions

Do I need a battery in the box?
You need a battery that fits, not necessarily one in the box. The £84.99 65 and both 110 C listings are sold without a pack. The 25 kit, the 65 kit and the 12 V set name batteries. Add a pack price before you call a bare body cheaper.
Will my green Bosch batteries fit?
No. Green POWER FOR ALL packs are a different mount from blue Professional 18 V and from the 12 V system. A UK buyer returned the GSB 18V-25 because home-and-garden batteries did not fit. AMPShare covers the blue 18 V slide and other AMPShare brands, not the green range.
Is the 110 C too much drill if I mostly drive screws?
It can be. UK reviews say easy screws are awkward unless the screw meets resistance. Bosch lists it around 1.9 kg before a battery. For cabinet screws, the 12 V set or the lighter 65 is the closer match.
What is the difference between the cardboard 110 C and the L-BOXX 110 C?
Both are GSB 18V-110 C bodies without batteries, at £149.99 and £186.00. The dearer listing adds L-BOXX 136 and has 4.7 from 795 reviews. The cardboard listing, 4.6 from 222, is the one with chuck complaints. Bluetooth is not included on either.
Why do amazon chuck and torque cells disagree with the title?
The rows contradict themselves. The 25 prints 60 Nm and 10 Nm. The 65 body prints a 175 mm chuck, the head length. The 12 V set prints 120 Nm and 2.6 rpm for two tools. Quote Bosch’s UK page and treat the conflicting cell as a listing error.
Is the 12 V set a cheaper way into the 18 V system?
No. At £239.99 it is the dearest listing, and its 2.0 Ah packs fit 12 V and 10.8 V tools, not an 18 V GSB. You would still need an 18 V battery to run the other five.
Does the 110 C include the Bluetooth module?
Not on these two ASINs. The listings call Bluetooth a connectivity option. The included line is the drill, the auxiliary handle and, on B083QMJR8Y, the L-BOXX. Bosch’s own guidance says the module depends on the order number, so assume it is absent unless the carton lists it.
