Best twinwall polycarbonate in this set

Updated: October 2026

Eight amazon.co.uk listings are in front of you, and the star lines do not describe the same sheet. A 5.0 from four reviews, a 4.9 from 23, and a 4.4 from 233 are not three tests of one thickness. This page names the best twinwall polycarbonate for a job in this set, and who should skip it. Best means a stated twin-wall sheet whose size you can check. The [twinwall polycarbonate comparison](/hub/diy-supplies/twinwall-polycarbonate) is the full table. Peter F. scored the extracts on 16 October 2026. Thickness before any ASIN sits on the [buying guide](/hub/diy-supplies/twinwall-polycarbonate/sub/twinwall-polycarbonate-buying-guide). Best for a standard greenhouse pane

Three packs state 4 mm twin-wall. They are not interchangeable. The top pick is the TEOV 14-pack, B0GXDZ5W59, at £62.29: 1210 × 605 mm, 4 mm, about £6.08 a square metre. One UK text put a first lot on a greenhouse and this lot on a chicken run. The UV face is unnamed. Skip it if 605 mm will not seat in a 610 mm bar. CHEOAR’s 4 mm ten-pack, B0F94D8L99, at £61.99, is 61 × 121 cm. Open it when the bars are 610 mm. The 4.9 from 23 is the same set as the 6 mm pack, and no fixings are included. Warmfay, B0F9PHRC24, is the best value at £54.99 for ten sheets of 1210 × 605 mm, about £7.51/m². The star line is 5.0 from 6 with no review text, and the UV film sentence is cut off. Take it when 605 mm fits.

When the slot wants 6 mm or 8 mm

Move up from 4 mm when the opening is already wider, or when 4 mm panes have been leaving the clips. CHEOAR’s 6 mm ten-pack, B0F94CP53Q, is £71.99 and 8.1 kg, against 5.72 kg on the 4 mm ASIN. The image and the reviews are the same file. Omega’s W-clip is sold for 4 mm twinwall, so this sheet is a misfit in that clip. The UMIG 6-pack, B0D4Z1F9G8, is £69.99 for six sheets stated as 120 × 60 cm, about £16 a square metre. The model code is still PCP4824-4MM, and the extract URL is a different ASIN. The 4.4 from 233 is shared with the 12-pack. One UK review says 6 mm stayed after 4 mm blew out. The UMIG 12-pack, B0D4Z6CV8R, at £85.49, prints 8 mm, 4 ft, and 6 ft on the same page, with the same 4MM model code and the same reviews.

The only 10 mm sheet

Truly PVC, B07BK96YZT, is the only 10 mm twinwall here: one opal sheet, 2.1 m by 4 m, £139.73, 14.3 kg. Clear Amber is the named manufacturer, and the origin line says the United Kingdom. Listing arithmetic is about £16.63/m². On 16 October 2026 The Polycarbonate Store showed 10 mm at £16.94/m². The prices are close. The offers are not. This listing has 4.3 from 7 reviews and no text, it does not attach a Marlon ST ten-year UV warranty, and Class 1 spread of flame is a bullet without a certificate. Twinwall is not automatically TP(a). Palram’s 10 mm opal figure is about 30% light, and this page prints no light number of its own. Buy it for a canopy where shade is the point. Do not reglaze a crop house with it, and do not treat Class 1 as a fire certificate.

What to skip

Skip the generic 1 × 3 m sheet, B0H23NHYP4, at £51.99. It says clear polycarbonate and an anti-yellowing claim. It does not say twin-wall or a thickness, and it has no star line. A low price for 3 m² is not a price for 4 mm twinwall until the page says so. Skip any rank that adds the shared counts. CHEOAR’s 23 and UMIG’s 233 are each one set on two ASINs. None of these packs is identified as Marlon ST, so a ten-year Brett Martin UV warranty does not travel with them. Fitting is on how to fit twinwall polycarbonate. Openings and clips are on polycarbonate greenhouse panels.

Common questions

Why not buy the cheapest per square metre?
TEOV is the cheapest stated area, about £6.08/m², and it is still 605 mm wide, with four reviews and an unnamed UV face. The generic sheet looks cheap per square metre only if you ignore the missing thickness. Area price matters after the page has said twin-wall, a thickness, and one size.
Are CHEOAR’s 23 reviews twice as much evidence on two ASINs?
No. The 4 mm and 6 mm listings share one review set and the same image URL. Adding 23 to 23 invents a second sample. A comment that the sheet was thinner than expected is not pinned to 6 mm alone.
Does UMIG’s 4.4 from 233 make it the top pick?
No. That count is shared with the 12-pack, the model code still says 4MM, and the 6-pack URL is a different ASIN. One UK review praises 6 mm in clips that lost 4 mm. Another text calls the panels floppy. Six sheets are about £16/m², the weak end of this set.
Should anyone buy the 1 × 3 m generic sheet?
Not from this extract. It does not say twin-wall or a thickness, and it has no reviews. A low price for 3 m² is not a 4 mm pane until the live page states both the wall count and the thickness, and you have matched that thickness to the frame.
What does best mean if you did not weather the sheets?
It means the most usable stated sheet for one job in this set, with a line for who should skip it. Stars are amazon.co.uk counts from the listing extracts, not a UV weathering test. A ten-year warranty applies only to the brand that prints it, and none of these packs is identified as that brand.
