Best rebar bender in this set, and who should skip it

Updated: 23 October 2026

Best rebar bender on amazon.co.uk mixes a 1–4 mm desktop pair, 4–14 mm pins, a 5/8 inch handheld and a 29 kg section former. The highest star line is not the tool a UK review tried on 14 mm steel. On the [rebar bender comparison](/hub/diy-supplies/rebar-bender) the top pick is the Zhildmosin bench pin, because one UK review names 14 mm steel. The best value is the MXBAOHENG, because a UK review names flat bar and the shelf price is £57.00. Neither is a scheduled stirrup machine. There is no independent UK lab test of these ASINs. A five-star line is not the test

The written sample is small. Zhildmosin and MXBAOHENG each show 5.0 from four ratings. CISSIYOG 95193 is 5.0 from two ratings with no review text. Mekturm is 2.9 from three ratings, and all three reviews are written out. A blank 5.0 cannot tell you the bar size, the bench, or what failed. The Concrete Society says reinforcement normally arrives already bent, and that accurate bending needs a machine except on the smallest diameters. SIMA’s DM-12, a 12 mm stirrup machine at £274.80 including VAT, is not in this set. Our top pick is a consumer pin whose former is unprinted.

Top pick when the review names 14 mm

Zhildmosin’s KQ-1908 is the top pick when you want the UK sentence that names 14 mm steel. The listing states 4–14 mm, including deformed rods, at £74.99. A Wiltshire review says the metal was more than ample for 14 mm steel. Two UK notes say it has to be mounted, and the bolts are not listed. Skip it if you will not bolt it down, if the drawing needs a printed 48 mm former, or if you need a stirrup machine. Table 2 of BS 8666:2020 sets that 48 mm mandrel for 12 mm bar, and this listing does not print a pin diameter. A 180 degree claim is not that mandrel.

Best value is the flat-bar review at £57

MXBAOHENG’s ZWJ-14 is the best value when the steel is flat bar and you want a long handle at £57.00. The listing states 1–14 mm round steel and rebar. The UK review bent 4 mm by 24 mm flat steel, filed weld crud off the turntable, and saw a slight twist when the set-up was not square. It does not describe ribbed bar. Fixings are not listed. Mekturm at £42.88 is cheaper and is not the best value: 2.9 from three ratings, and one review failed to bend 12 mm on a scaffolding board. A lower price with a failed attempt is a different offer. The 12 mm argument is on bend 12 mm rebar.

Leave the mini, the silent 5.0, and the 29 kg former

DOODLREAM at £17.89 stops at 1–4 mm steel rebar. Singring at £29.59 stops at 1–6 mm. Both are the wrong row for 8–14 mm reinforcement. CISSIYOG RebarBender01, at £63.99, is a different model from 95193. Across five ratings the line is 4.0, and the only text is a German review that the tool broke on the third day. There is no UK review. NiQiWuKin’s Rb-58m, at £76.91, states up to 5/8 inch, with no millimetre line and a United States review. KATSU 165193, at £164.99 and 29 kg, prints no rebar range. Heavier is not a secret winner. If the bar is 16 mm or the pin has failed, see hire or buy a rebar bender.

Common questions

Which listing is the top pick, and for whom?
Zhildmosin’s 4–14 mm bench pin, at £74.99, is the top pick for someone who wants the UK review that names 14 mm steel and who will bolt the plate to a real bench. It is the wrong tool if you need a printed former, a stirrup stop, or a machine you can use unfixed. The former diameter is not on the listing.
Why is the cheaper Mekturm not the best value?
Mekturm is £42.88 with 2.9 from three ratings. One of those reviews failed to bend 12 mm on a scaffold board. The best value mark stays with MXBAOHENG at £57.00, where a UK review at least describes 4 mm by 24 mm flat bar. Cheaper with a failed attempt is not the same as better evidenced.
Why does a 5.0 from two ratings not win?
CISSIYOG 95193 is 5.0 from two ratings and there is no review text. Nobody describes a diameter, a bench or a fault. NiQiWuKin’s 5.0 rests on a United States review. A star line without a UK sentence about your bar is not a strength test.
Who should skip the Zhildmosin?
Skip it if the bench will not take a fixed plate, or if the schedule needs a former you can read as 48 mm for 12 mm bar. Also skip it if you wanted a stirrup machine. The Wiltshire note is one comment about 14 mm steel, not a certificate.
Who should skip the MXBAOHENG?
Skip it if you need a UK review of ribbed bar. The written trial is 4 mm by 24 mm flat steel, plus a twist when the set-up was not square. The 1–14 mm title is not that trial, and bolts are not listed as included.
Does best mean it meets BS 8666?
No. None of these nine listings prints a former diameter, so none is called compliant here. Table 2 still asks for a 48 mm minimum mandrel on 12 mm bar. A top pick in this set means the most relevant written UK trial, with the skips above, not a shape-code approval.
