Electric grill brush

Updated: 23 October 2026

Your wrist already aches from a £9 wire brush. An electric grill brush in this amazon.co.uk set is worth the extra money only if it keeps turning when you press. Two of the three cordless listings have UK reviews that say the head stops. The third has a larger review file and no such sentence in the sample we read. The eleven-row table, including the manual brushes these motors have to beat, is on our [grill brush comparison](/hub/grill-accessories/grill-brush). There is no UK magazine lab test of these three. A qualifying purchase can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

A motor is for sore hands, not for a higher star rating

TNTOR is already 4.6 from 8,031 reviews at £9.99, and PePeng and AUXHCYL sit at 4.6 for about £9. A cordless brush does not win this set on stars. Leebein is 4.3 from 692 at £45.99. TIMIFTE is 3.9 from 14 at £30.99. Winwj is 4.0 from 3 at £19.99. You pay more so the motor does the lean that hurts your hand. RPM is a speed, not a quality score. Winwj prints 300, 350 and 400. TIMIFTE prints 350. Leebein prints 280, 380 and 480. No file prints torque. Checks before a motor are on the grill brush buying guide.

The three listings are not the same head

Winwj, ASIN B0GWJYW7G6, is £19.99, with 2600 mAh, about 100 to 180 minutes, and a 40 cm handle. The heads are stainless wire and a polishing brush, at 810 g. One of two UK reviews praises it for arthritic hands. The other says it stalls under pressure and still needed a scraper. TIMIFTE, ASIN B0GY8DBQGY, is £30.99 and calls a 304 stainless roller bristle-free at 350 RPM. It weighs 1.05 kg, and battery capacity is not printed. More than one of 11 UK reviews says light pressure stops it. Leebein, ASIN B0GG48GYS1, is £45.99, 4.3 from 692 reviews, with 5000 mAh and up to 150 minutes. The heads are stainless mesh, scouring, and polishing, at 520 g. No IP code is printed. Of 29 UK reviews, none describes a stall. Mesh is still metal.

Pressing harder is how these fail

Winwj’s UK review says the head stalls under pressure. TIMIFTE reviews say light pressure is enough to stop it, and one owner went back to a manual brush because it was faster. Leebein’s 29 UK reviews praise the charge and do not contain that sentence. Absence in 29 reviews is not a torque certificate. When the head stops, leaning harder is the load that bogged the motor. Ease off, or finish with a manual brush. Winwj’s unhappy review still needed a scraper. Do not wash the Leebein motor because a bullet says waterproof. Dishwasher-safe on that listing refers to the heads. TIMIFTE’s milliamp hours are missing. A warranty mentioned only in a review is not a printed specification.

Who should pay £46, and who should not

Pay £45.99 for Leebein if your hands need the motor, you accept that mesh is still metal, and you would rather have 692 reviews and a 5000 mAh line than the stall sentences on the cheaper cordless brushes. You are not buying a laboratory waterproof mark. Leave Winwj at £19.99 unless you will own a three-review file in which one owner says it stalls, and you still accept a wire head. That loose-wire injury is on wire or bristle-free grill brush. Leave TIMIFTE at £30.99 if you will lean on the roller. The bristle-free claim does not keep it spinning, it weighs 1.05 kg, and the battery capacity is not printed. Everyone else in this set is better with a manual brush around £9.

Common questions

Why do two of these stop when you lean on them?
The listings print speed and battery time. They do not print torque. Winwj’s UK review says it stalls under pressure. TIMIFTE’s reviews say it stops under light pressure. Pushing harder increases the load that stopped the motor. Ease off or use a scraper. A US gear blog describes the same drag. It did not test these ASINs.
Which of the three has the longest UK review file?
Leebein, with 4.3 from 692 reviews on the listing and 29 UK reviews in the file we read. Winwj has 4.0 from 3, and two of those are the UK notes. TIMIFTE has 3.9 from 14, with 11 UK reviews in the file. The longer file is why Leebein is the only cordless brush here you might pay £46 for, and it still is not a lab score.
Does electric mean bristle-free?
No. Winwj includes a stainless wire head and a polishing head. TIMIFTE sells a 304 stainless roller as bristle-free. Leebein uses stainless mesh plus scouring and polishing heads. Mesh and rollers are metal. Only the wire head brings the loose-bristle failure Weber warns about. Read the head before you treat electric as a safety type.
What battery figures are actually printed?
Leebein prints 5000 mAh, up to 150 minutes, and up to 10 cleans a charge. Winwj prints 2600 mAh, about 100 to 180 minutes, and about three hours on USB-C. TIMIFTE does not print capacity or runtime. It says to charge for four hours before first use. Do not fill the gap with a guess.
Can I wash the motor because a bullet says waterproof?
The Leebein bullet claims the brush is fully waterproof and that the heads are dishwasher safe. No IP code is printed, so the waterproof line stays a claim. Wash the heads if the listing says the heads are dishwasher safe. Do not immerse a motor on the strength of a missing rating. Winwj’s heat claim for the shell is 285°C and is also a listing claim.
