Best brass grill brush: three amazon.co.uk listings

Updated: 22 October 2026

You are choosing a brass grill brush on amazon.co.uk and the search returns brushes that share a metal word and almost nothing else. One names porcelain and prints a length. One is a small three-pack with a scraper. One says brass in the title and stainless in a bullet. This page says who each of those three is for, using listings captured on 19 October 2026. The prices are £31.42, £7.99 and £8.99. The scores are 88, 78 and 76 from star share plus review volume, not from a lab. A qualifying purchase can earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Who each listing is for

Grillaholics, ASIN B07BYS9HN9, is the top pick because the score is the highest. It is still a wire brush with shedding in the reviews: £31.42, 4.5 from 1,340 ratings, score 88. QWORK WD42250, ASIN B0DBK9XH9V, is the best value pick because £7.99 for three brushes scores 78, only ten points behind, from 4.3 and 65 ratings. Best value means price against that score, not better wire. CNMTCCO, ASIN B0GQHDXK3H, is £8.99, 4.2 from 58 ratings, score 76. The title says brass and one bullet says stainless steel. Keep the 65 ratings from 19 October 2026. A later bestseller snippet is a sales list, not a quality test.

Porcelain or ceramic, and no scraper on the spec

If the grate is porcelain or ceramic, and the booklet does not demand stainless, Grillaholics is the listing that names those surfaces and does not list a scraper. Crepe Shop UK tells porcelain owners to keep a scraper off enamel. A long-term review says there is no front scraper. You are missing a blade for bare cast iron, not a feature enamel needs. A UK review reports bristles off within about six weeks, and other texts mention tiny brass pieces on the grate. A review mentions zinc-coated wire that rusts. Do not import a US 12-inch handle or a dollar price onto this UK listing. Skip Grillaholics when the maker’s card says stainless. How you preheat and stroke the bars is on the how to clean BBQ grates with a brass brush page.

A small three-pack against a long 3-in-1

QWORK suits a small grate and a low budget if you accept a thin review file. Reviews call the brushes small, and one head bent after a single use. The rustproof bullet sits next to rust reports, and one reviewer says the hairs are magnetic, which stops a proven-brass claim. You buy three chances to retire a head, plus a scraper you should keep off porcelain. There is no printed length. CNMTCCO suits one brush with a scraper and a loop around £9 if you will live with a metal conflict. A review says it cleans grooved cast iron. Another says it misses the narrow gap on a Napoleon Rogue 425. The two-part handle screws together. Reviews report rust and describe steel rather than solid brass. Extra long without centimetres is not Grillaholics’ 44.5 cm. If you need brass in every line, buy neither until you have read both.

What the scores are not

Each score is four-fifths of the amazon.co.uk star share, plus up to 20 points for how many people rated the listing. Grillaholics takes more of that band because 1,340 ratings dwarf 65 and 58. It is not a scrape test, a magnet test, or a count of swallowed wires. A higher score does not mean the bristles stay in, and it does not mean Weber has approved the brush. Weber UK specifies stainless steel, a check before every use, and replacement at least every season. If none of the three matches your grate, leave the set. Napoleon’s GABR003 at £8.99 is a brass brush on the brand’s UK page and is not scored here. A nylon or bristle-free head is the exit when the coating bans metal. Wire already on the grate is the loose bristles page. It does not crown a safer model.

Common questions

Which of the three is for porcelain or ceramic as named on the listing?
Grillaholics. The surface field says ceramic and porcelain, and the spec block does not list a scraper. QWORK names metal and porcelain and includes a scraper you should not use on enamel. Naming a surface is not a lab result that the wire will not mark it.
Which includes a scraper, and when should you skip it?
QWORK and CNMTCCO include a scraper. Grillaholics does not list one. Skip the scraper on porcelain enamel. Keep it for bare cast iron if you want a blade as well as bristles.
Which handle length is actually printed?
Only Grillaholics prints a length: 18 inches and 44.5 cm. CNMTCCO says extra long and gives no centimetres. QWORK prints no length, and reviews call the brushes small. If reach is why you are shopping, the unmeasured handles are the weaker bet.
Is the £7.99 three-pack the best value, or only the cheapest?
It is the best value in this set, and it is also the cheapest: £7.99 and a score of 78, against £8.99 at 76 and £31.42 at 88. It does not mean the wire is better, or that 65 ratings are a deep sample. The brass claim is disputed by a magnetic-hair review.
Does 1,340 ratings make Grillaholics the safest?
No. The count is why the score reaches 88, and the same file includes bristles off in about six weeks. Weber’s discard rule still applies. More buyers do not certify a brush.
Why is CNMTCCO not a clear brass brush?
The title says brass and one bullet says high-quality stainless steel bristles. Reviews describe steel or brass-plated steel, and they report rust beside a no-rust line. Until those lines agree, it is a 3-in-1 with a scraper and a loop, not a settled brass specimen.
