Bosch EasyImpact vs Professional

Updated: 22 October 2026

The green battery clicks onto the vacuum and will not click onto the blue drill you just opened. Bosch EasyImpact vs Professional is that split. Both tools are 18 V, and the packs are built not to interchange. If you already own green Power for All batteries, stay on the EasyImpact. If you already own blue Professional or AMPShare packs, buy the GSB. The [Bosch cordless drill comparison](/hub/drilling-and-accessories/bosch-cordless-drill) lists the prices from the 19 October 2026 dumps. Two 18 V systems

Power for All is the green Home & Garden system. The packs are PBA 18 V. The EasyImpact, EasyDrill, UniversalImpact and AdvancedImpact use those packs. Professional 18 V packs are GBA, and AMPShare keeps those packs working across Bosch Professional tools and partner brands. Bosch’s AMPShare pages say the system does not work with Power for All. The coding is mechanical. Gardena UK says PBA packs are coded differently from Professional packs, which is why a garden battery and a GSB refuse each other. GSB kit reviews say Home & Garden batteries do not fit. The EasyImpact data excludes chargers AL 1814 CV, AL 1820 CV, AL 1860 CV and AL 2215 CV from PBA packs. The green kits here include AL 18V-20. Charge a PBA pack between 0 °C and 35 °C.

What you are actually buying

A green EasyImpact kit is a combi, a PBA pack, charger AL 18V-20 and a case. The one-battery 1.5 Ah kit is about £64.97 and the two 2.0 Ah kit is about £75.23. A first green kit in these dumps sits around £65 to £80. The blue comparison point is the GSB 18V-25 kit, model 06019K9377, ASIN B0FJSJTMDW, at about £149.99 with two GBA 4.0 Ah packs, charger GAL 18V-40 and an L-Case Pick & Click. The L-Case does not lock onto an existing L-Boxx stack. The GSB body, model 06019K9300, ASIN B0FJRMNH7P, is about £48.95 and the scope is a cardboard box. The file shows 4.6 from 141 reviews, the same count as the kit, and the review text talks about 4 Ah packs this carton does not list. It is a complete tool only if you already own GBA or other AMPShare 18 V packs and a Professional charger.

Torque after the battery fits

Compare newton-metres only after a pack from the same family seats and locks. The EasyImpact 18V-40 is 40 Nm on Bosch’s sheet, with masonry to 13 mm. The GSB 18V-25 Professional UK page states 21 Nm soft, 56 Nm hard and 60 Nm maximum, 35 mm in wood, and 10 mm in masonry and metal. The amazon kit table also prints 10 Nm and 10 mm in wood. Use the Professional page for those diameters. Buying blue to gain 20 Nm on the maximum line still leaves a 10 mm masonry figure, and it means a second battery system if your packs are green. Kit reviews call the motor brushed and point to a GSB 18V-45 for brushless. The body listing’s special-features line says brushless. That single cell is not enough. The AdvancedImpact is listed at 82 Nm and brushless, at about £139.00 with 26 reviews, and it still takes PBA packs.

Which one, with a condition

Buy the EasyImpact if you own green packs, or if you own none and the work is ordinary DIY: screws, furniture, and brick within 13 mm. The 1.5 Ah kit is the best value complete start. The two-battery kit is the spare PBA pack in the box. Which kit suits a first house is the best Bosch cordless drill page. Buy the GSB kit if you own blue packs, or if you are starting a Professional or AMPShare fleet and you accept about £149.99 for two 4.0 Ah batteries and a brushed combi. Buy the GSB body only when the live scope is a bare tool and the packs on the shelf are already blue. Do not buy the GSB to upgrade a green cupboard. A blue drill does not gain a concrete rating by being Professional. Hammer and box contents are the buying guide.

Common questions

Can I use my green Bosch battery on a GSB?
No. Green Power for All PBA packs do not fit the GSB 18V-25. Bosch’s AMPShare pages say the Professional system does not work with Power for All. You need a GBA or other AMPShare 18 V pack.
Can a Professional charger charge a PBA pack?
Not the ones Bosch excludes. AL 1814 CV, AL 1820 CV, AL 1860 CV and AL 2215 CV do not charge PBA packs. The green kits include AL 18V-20, between 0 °C and 35 °C. A blue GAL 18V-40 belongs with the GBA packs.
Is the blue drill always more powerful?
On Bosch’s sheets the GSB 18V-25 is 60 Nm maximum against 40 Nm for the EasyImpact 18V-40, with masonry at 10 mm rather than 13 mm. The green AdvancedImpact is listed at 82 Nm and still will not take a blue battery. Power only counts after the pack fits.
Is the GSB 18V-25 brushless?
Treat it as brushed. Kit reviews say so and mention the GSB 18V-45 for a brushless Professional combi. The body listing has a special-features cell that says brushless. Do not buy the body on that cell alone.
If I own no batteries, which system do I start?
Start green for house DIY if you want a complete kit around £65 to £80. Start blue if the next tools will be Professional or AMPShare and you will pay about £149.99 for the GSB kit. The about £48.95 body still needs a battery and a charger.
Is the £48.95 blue body a complete tool?
No. Model 06019K9300 is listed with a cardboard box and no battery named. The 4.6 from 141 reviews match the kit’s count and describe packs this scope does not include. The GSB kit at about £149.99 is the blue box with two 4.0 Ah packs.
